Chen Tian will say, on the market of domestic drinking water, adds " mineral water " that the food additive most typical products are each brand at present . This kind of product generally regards urban running water as the source of water, make purified water, and then add chlorine potassium, magnesium sulfic acid, sodium chloride,etc. 2- 3 kinds of additive to make.
He says, he surveys and studies knowing, some producers claim the purpose to add food additive is for " regulate the taste of the purified water " ,But its true purpose is to start from the economic benefits, with so-called " mineral water " Name play for the gallery, last consumer,not and with " benefiting groundlessly by health " Open propaganda mislead consumer. He says, 80% mineral water adds food additive and makes manually on the market.

Under requiring all food additive to locate in and observe permanently too in EU Committee, as the use for food additive of appearance of the new technology carries on the assessment again.
Deputy to the National People's Congress, Wuhan University's public health dean Mao ZongFu think, the more feasible one is to carry on long-term risk assessment to drinking water food additive at present, and revise the relevant standard.
